18-hole golf-course Par 71 and Golf-Club NUEVO PORTIL close to the Golfvilla
The Golfvilla is situated at hole 12 of Golfclub “Nuevo Portil”, where you can practice every sunday at 12 o´clock (after registration at the Pro-Shop) for free, if you want to check out your golf-skills for the first time.
All other players can enjoy the well maintained and sophisticated 18-hole-course (Par 71), 6.040 m long at beautiful 46 hectares. Our customers have the possibilty to buy 10 Green-Fee-Tickets, not personalized and usable by multiple players for a special Green Fee from EUR 22,- / player! Additional you can use lettings of clubs and e-buggies or karts.

At the Pro-Shop of Nuevo Portil Golf-Club you have a hugh offer of stylish and trandy golf clothings, caps, Wilson-clubs and everything, your golf-heart can imagine.
Just a few minutes by car away you can play at the 27-hole-golf-course of El Rompido (10 minutes by car away), or at the 18-hole-golf-course of Cartaya (15 minutes by car away) and at the 18-hole-golf-course of Aljaraque (15 minutes by car away), too. Our Golfvilla is your perfect vacation home for your golf-vacation.
Beachlife & seafood.
Our sandy beach close to the Golfvilla is 25 km long and protected as nature reserve. It starts at the little harbour of El Rompido ban reaches up to Punta Umbria. The beach is particulary up to 200 meters wide, all kinds of water- and beachsports are possible. El Portil and Nuevo Portil with its beach is a perfect area for Kite- and Windsurfer, because with beginning of flood (late afternoon) it starts to get windy, in the wintertime more, than in summer.
Chiringuitos (bars and restaurants at the beach) offer cold drinks and typical food, mostly really fresh fish and seafood. Sit down in a chiringuito, lay back and enjoy an ice-cold lager, served with -2° C, i.e. “Cruzcampo glacial“, which is pulled of frozen tap, absolutely amazing in the summer! This is absolutely typical for the area of Huelva and Nuevo Portil / El Portil. The prices are very low, the mediate price for an ice-cold beer at the beach is EUR 1,80!
Enjoy one of the small restaurants around the Golfvilla, mostly small taverns with a simple, but very delicious menue.
We could give you a lot of hints for your dinner, but remember just one: Never select your meal from a picture menue, ask the waiter for the specialities and order them. Trust us, you will never be disappointed!
On the left you will see some typical food, which we enjoyed, this is exemplary seafood.
The next city close to the Golfvilla is the regional capital Huelva, just 10 minutes away by car. Huelva has round about 150.000 inhabitants, you can find a large Shopping-Zone with all international brands – mostly cheaper than in central Europe.
Huelva is very interesting foor food-lovers, because of the daily market “Mercado del Carmen” in the center of Huelva, where fresh fish and seafood, vegetables and beef is offerred from Monday until Saturday from 8.30 h – 15.00 h. Huelva has a long tradition in sausages and air dried ham. One of the absolutely best hams of Spain results from Huelva: The “Pata Negra”. The porks never got something else than nuts for food and you will never ask for a simple serrano ham, if you ever tasted a “pata negra”!
For those who are culturally interested, in Huelva is a big outdoor-museum for Christoph Columbus, who started 1492 from Huelva first to the Canary Islands and then to America. The three ships of Columbus were re-buildt 1:1 and you can visit them at the Museum, which is close to the “Monasterio de la Rabida“. Columbus received here blessing from catholic church, before he started into his adventure. The monastery is still existing at the same place as 1492.
Sevilla, capital of Andalucia,is just 90 km away from our Golfvilla and a MUST-DO. Sevilla has beautiful, old houses and churches, enjoy the view at “Plaza España” with a “Café con Leche” or a “Copa“.

The Alhambra is just 400 km away, if you leave the Golfvilla early in the morning, you will be surprised at noon of arabian architecture !

Wir empfehlen ausdrücklich die vielen kleinen Restaurants und Bars rund um unser Haus, bestellen Sie jedoch niemals von den bebilderten Speisekarten, achten Sie stets auf die Tageskarte, die meist als Schiefertafel an der Fassade des Restaurants angebracht ist und tagesfrische Fischgerichte bietet.

Die nächste Stadt ist die Provinzhauptstadt Huelva, die nur 10 Auto-Minuten entfernt ist. Huelva hat rund 150.000 Einwohner, hier finden Sie sehr viele Shopping-Möglichkeiten in der Fußgängerzone. Kulinarisch finden Sie regionale Spezialitäten, einen unglaublich vielfältigen Markt, Schinken- und Wurstmanufakturen. Zudem finden Sie in Huelva ein Freiland-Museum, das Christoph Kolumbus gewidmet ist. Die drei Schiffe des Kolumbus sind im Massstab 1:1 nachgebaut und können dort besichtigt werden. Sehenswert ist auch das Franziskaner-Kloster “Monasterio de la Rabida“, hier bekam Kolumbus seinen kirchlichen Segen vor der Abreise. Das Kloster existiert immer noch an gleicher Stelle und wird von den Mönchen liebevoll gepflegt.
